While we often focus on success in the classroom, there is something more you can do to ensure success for the next generation: make sure our local school board is fighting for our kids' education! District 279 United is a group of concerned parents and community members who support: Neighborhood schools Fiscal responsibility with district finances Community partnership in school district strategy and key decisions 2009 Goals District 279 United will endorse and support three candidates for the District 279 school board elections to be held November 2010.
